If you go just across the border into Italy, along the Med, you will find a small town called Finale Ligure. We stayed at the hostel there for a couple of days, and I have some great memories. The beach was not too crowded, and we spent one whole day hanging out in a pizza place, writing postcards, because it was raining. One thinig that I love about That part of Europe is that once you sit at a table, you own it until you want to leave. They won’t bug you, you have to bug them if you want to eat! Cute little town (or it was 20 years ago) and I remember the hostel was in some kind of castle. Just a thought…
If you can figure out where you’ll be the day Casey turns 18, please send me an e-mail with an address (it doesn’t have to be a hostel, it could be a post office in the general area). The sooner the better as I think it might take a bit longer to send a care package to Europe then it did when you were at Camp Harlow…It might have stuff that you girls usually find in the Lyerla snack drawer as well as Casey birthday stuff. I’ll even take requests for specific treats if you can figure this out for me.
What are you guys reading?
It’s good to have some down time.
We have a friend who went on a mission trip to India coming today. She’s going to tell our Bible Study girls all about it.
So yesterday I tried a new recipe for Hazelnut Twist Sweet Rolls. It took all day. They’re good but not good enough to make again.
We love you lots.
