About the Travelers

We are — in age order — Keelin Benedicto (K), Margaret Wright (M), and Casey Lyerla (C). This blog is being made to keep our mothers from cardiac arrests of worry. The mothers — Juanita, Trina, and Toni. We figured, hey, if we’re gonna keep a blog, why not keep it open to the public, huh? So this is for everyone. With the help of Casey’s new Blackberry, we will be updating the blog everyday. Or at least that’s the plan… So worried mothers, family, and friends, please feel free and welcome to leave comments and your little spurts of love, joy, and courage for us young travelers.

    Bon voyage, fair maidens!

(I tried to insert an aschii heart but wordpress deflated it. I’ll add it anyway).

Thanks Juanita for setting this up and the training in use.
Girls- Love you! Have fun! Every person I talked to expressed “green with envy” and “so lucky you are to do this” sentiments.
    I xoxoxoxo you

  3. Aunt Claudia replied:

Toni sent this on to Lyerla extended family of the Paris travelers. Hooray for arrival in Pareee — now rest, rejuvenate and then tell us all that you see. To see Paris and Italy through the eyes of a young(ish) woman — how fun! Love you and love the name of the blog. Don’t forget to put some little thing in it each day. And of course, pictures, pictures, pictures!!

I miss you all already, though I rarely see my own daughter even when she’s not roaming the world. Be careful all of you and always stick together. Love you!

i send you spurts of love too. spurts of it.

  6. Martha & Nanu replied:

Hi, Mags. We love your “Glob” as Nanu called it. Ah, the joys of navigating the big city. Check out the Left Bank or Rive Gauche – it’s the ‘Bohemian’ part of the city. There’s a big outdoor market near there, it’s famous but I can’t remember its name. It’s near the cathedral, St. Eustache. Also, check out some of the smaller museums – like the one that has Rodin’s work. I’ll have to get out my Paris stuff from 21 (Yipes!) years ago.
I just figured out the name of your website – cute.
    We love you,
    Martha & Nanu

  7. Martha replied:

My Bible verse for the day:
“If any of you lack wisdom, let him (or her) ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally,…and it shall be given him (or her).” James 1:5

  8. Martha replied:

Mags, so glad you got your bag. It’s amazing what you can live without. I figured out how to get your pics printed online, and then delivered to the Rite Aid just down the road. Technology can be way cool.
    Bible verse of the day:
Tiger Woods’ baby was born on Monday. A little girl – Sam Alexis Woods. (I know you won’t know what’s going on at home, so a little news is a good thing) What else? Oh, yeah, the space shuttle is coming home today.
“This is the day that the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.”
    Psalm 118:24
We love you so much and are praying for you every day.
    Martha & Nanu

  9. Martha replied:

Oops! I just read what I sent. The Bible verse of the day is NOT about Tiger Woods. Anyway…
    Love,
    Martha

  10. Nanu replied:

  11. Martha replied:

So, where are you guys off to next?
Here’s my Bible verse for you today:
    Jeremiah 17:19
    “Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed;
Save me and I will be saved,
    For Thou art my praise.”

  12. Annette replied:

Hello Lady-ohs! I am so enjoying reading your daily postings. I was feeling very guilty about not forking over the cash so that Kaitie could go with you – that was until I read about your stopover in Amsterdam. Just kidding! I look forward to reading what you are up to every day. Keep it coming! Juanita, this ‘wearesafe’ blog is the greatest! I also, of course, enjoy the daily Bible verses. :) Way to go Martha and Nanu! Enjoy every second of your adventure! You will surely miss it all when you are back in Or-E-Gone. Love you all! The Kaysers
